Colwyn Bay's 1940s Festival has been a regular fixture in the town at the start of the spring, but its long term future will be very much in the hands of local people.
On 5th March, local residents and members of the business community will be invited to take part in a drop in consultation at the Bayview Shopping Centre to find out about plans for the festival in 2020 and to harness support and ideas for future years.
Running since 2011 the 1940’s Festival has brought lots of people into the town and raised the profile of the area across the country.
The success of the event moving forward will be down to getting many more businesses and community members involved.
Volunteers and sponsors of the event will be manning a drop in from 12pm until 7.30pm on 5th March and it is hoped that with more support the event will receive a new lease of life and reach out to many more people.
