Parts of North Wales are likely to receive a battering from high winds of Bank Holiday Monday according to warnings issued by the Met Office today.
Whilst the North Wales coast including the Bay are forecast to have heavy rain and high wind, the worst of the weather will be driving in towards western coasts impacting on areas including the Lleyn Peninsula, Porthmadoc, Harlech and Barmouth.
The yellow weather warning for high winds will be in place from 12 noon on Monday through to Tuesday at 9am.
The Met Office say that some delays should be expected to road, rail, air and ferry transport are likely with some journeys taking longer.
Disruption may be experienced for high-sided vehicles on exposed routes and on bridges. Damage to outdoor temporary structures are also possible.
