Fans of I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here will be disappointed learn that the live shows planned for this weekend have been disrupted once again due to the heavy storm experienced overnight across North Wales.
Yesterday, ITV announced that Friday's night's show would not be live for the first time in the history of the show as bad weather made producers concerned for the safety of the celebrities and the production staff working behind the scenes.
Earlier today the channel announced that due to damage caused at their production centre in the grounds of Gwrych Castle, Saturday and Sunday night shows would instead be replaced by two emergency backup programmes featuring highlights from previous series.
Gary Smith from ITV said: "The celebrities are safe and currently within the Castle. However our production base sustained significant damage during last night's storm.
" As a consequence, only essential crew are currently on site, the wellbeing of our cast and crew is of utmost priority to us."
