Like at school, college, work, home, community, arts, leisure and positions of authority and expertise.

Area to be discussed and explored will include reducing stigma and discrimination against people with a learning disability, giving people power and control in their own lives and promoting people’s well-being.

This year delegates can look forward to presentations and discussions with Wales Youth Parliament, North Wales Transformation Programme Joe Powell, All Wales People First, Gig Buddies and Engage to Change

Learning Disability Wales is committed to making a Wales a country where people with a learning disability are seen, heard, included and valued.

It is important as it makes the most of people’s skills, knowledge and talents, helps services provide the right services and contributes to community cohesion and economic development.

The charity represents the learning disability sector in Wales with a focus on creating a Wales that values and includes every child, young person and adult with a learning disability.

They work alongside people with a learning disability and their families, Welsh government, local authorities, disabled people’s organisations and the voluntary sector.
