Llandudno RNLI would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us them for thier Open Day last weekend.

With the sun shining brightly, it was a day filled with excitement, community spirit, and a deep appreciation for their lifesaving services.

Visitors enjoyed an array of activities, including boat tours, treats from our cake stalls, and a raffle and tombola. Attendees also had the opportunity to purchase merchandise and learn about water safety at our dedicated stalls.

A highlight of the day was the chance to meet the crew of Llandudno RNLI, along with partners from the local Coastguard. The RNLI’s beloved mascot, Stormy Stan, was also on hand to entertain both young and old throughout the event!

The All Weather and Inshore Lifeboats launched for a dramatic display and rescue demonstration. These showcases not only highlighted the dangers associated with small inflatables on the water but also illustrated the remarkable capabilities of the lifeboats.

A spokesperson said: "We are especially thrilled to share that, thanks to the incredible generosity of our visitors and the fantastic fundraising efforts, we raised an amazing £4,093. This vital funding will greatly support our life-saving work at sea, ensuring we can continue to protect our community and those who enjoy our waters.

“We are truly grateful to everyone who attended our Open Day and supported the RNLI. The enthusiasm and generosity inspire us all, and together, we can make a real difference in saving lives at sea. Thank you for being part of our lifesaving mission!"
