Llandudno's Lifeboat station has received a generous donation from Colwyn Heights Townswomen’s Guild.
Following receiving an invitation from the Guild, Lifeboat Operations Manager Captain Marcus Elliott gave a talk on all of the activities undertaken by lifeboat volunteers to the Colwyn Heights group at their most recent meeting.
Marcus was able to tell the members all about the rescues undertaken by the lifeboats, and also explain about all of the work which goes on behind the scenes to support the vital endeavours of the RNLI in saving lives at sea.
Marcus received their generous donation from Chairperson Joan Philbin, Colwyn Heights Townswomen’s Guild.
Marcus said: "We were delighted to learn we had been chosen to be their charity for the year and were very grateful to receive a cheque for £360."
