Llanddulas to row into fundraising glory

March 17, 2019 - 2072 views

After weeks of planning and some serious help from local celebrities and supporters, a local school gets set with their inspirational campaign to raise money enough to buy a minibus.

Tomorrow from lunchtime (Monday), pupils, staff, parents and supporters of Ysgol Llandrillo will be getting in the hotseat to begin the Llanddulas 7 Day Continuous Row. That's 7 days and 168 hours worth of blisters and aches - but all for an excllent cause!

This amazing fundraising project is a brilliant start to a week of fundraising helped by the unwavering support from people and businesses from right across the community. Most of the events will be planned at the school.

On Wednesday at 7pm the school will be holding The Bobby Gold Bingo Night.

On Thursday Natalie’s Cake, Cookie and Coffee afternoon will be held at the school from 3pm - 7pm followed on Saturday by Marmalade's Cafe Family Sports & Breakfast Morning, at the school, 10-1pm

On Saturday Tapas Night, Wine and Gin Tasting will take place from 6.30-11.30pm and on Sunday 24th March the school welcomes the Llanddulas Male Voice Choir at 7pm.

And finally to end the whole Llanddulas Row off, Ysgol Llanddulas presents their Grand Celebration and Auction Night at Kinmel Manor on 30th March from 7pm to 1am. Tickets will be £35.00 tickets for drinks reception, drink and hot buffet.

Bayside Radio will be following the event on Monday and you can hear highlights on Jeff's Afternoon Show on Tuesday afternoon from midday.
