The Holyhead Coastguard yesterday (Tuesday 25th October) tasked Llandudno Lifeboat  to launch their inshore lifeboat to assist Llandudno Coastguard and Rhyl Coastguard Rescue Team who were attending to two young people in danger on the cliffs above Angel Bay, Little Orme's Head.

The RNLI D Class relief lifeboat 'Buzz II', with her volunteer crew proceeded to Angel Bay. They arrived on scene five minutes after launch and soon located the two young casualties who were approximately forty feet above the shoreline.

The Lifeboat Helm monitored the casualties as they moved down the cliffs, eventually making their way to the safety of Penrhyn Bay beach, where they were given serious safety advice by the lifeboat crew.

The lifeboat was then stood down by HM Coastguard and returned to station to prepare for future launches.
