North Wales Police has confirmed that 57-year-old Colin, who had been missing from the Llandudno Hospital area since Thursday, August 13, has been found.
Police issued an update to say Colin has been located following an extensive search operation involving officers, specialist resources and members of the local community.
The search had been ongoing for several days, with officers from North Wales Police supported by the force's Drone Unit and colleagues from Mountain Rescue.
Local officers had also been carrying out house-to-house enquiries in the area surrounding Llandudno Hospital.
Police had appealed to residents living around the hospital estate to check their gardens, sheds, garages and other outbuildings in case Colin had sought shelter or entered a property.
Chief Inspector Wesley Williams had thanked the community for assisting officers during the search.
Following confirmation that Colin has been found, North Wales Police has thanked everyone who assisted with the operation and shared information during the appeal.
The force has not provided further details about where Colin was found or his condition.
The news will come as a relief to Colin's family and those involved in the search.
