Competitions take place in a variety of sectors, including business, construction, digital, engineering, health and social care, hospitality and more.

Many learners were competing on familiar territory, with Grŵp Llandrillo Menai this year hosting a record 23 disciplines across its campuses and other venues - the largest number ever hosted by one college group.

Others competed at venues across the country including Coleg Cambria, Cardiff and the Vale College, and NPTC in Newtown.

Grŵp Llandrillo Menai chief executive Aled Jones-Griffith said: “We are so proud of our learners for demonstrating their skills at the highest level. It is gratifying to see so many of them winning medals and commendations as reward for their hard work.

“Our learners' success is a testament to their dedication and drive, as well as to their tutors and assessors who have worked hard to help them reach these heights. I wish our learners all the best for their future careers.

“I am also pleased that as a Grŵp we have hosted a record number of competitions this year. This underscores our unwavering commitment to developing and driving the skills of Wales’ future workforce.”
