A Manchester man was charged to appear before Magistrates Court following a road traffic collision on the A55 near Mochdre earlier today.
At 7:45am a collision occurred on the westbound carriageway just before the Black Cat which involved a blue coloured VW Golf and a red coloured VW Golf.
Nobody was injured following the collision, however the driver of the blue Golf was arrested on suspicion of drink driving and taken to police custody.
He was later charged with drink driving, possession of Class B drugs and driving without due care and attention.
The man, who is from the Sale area, will appear before Llandudno Magistrates Court on September 22nd.
North Wales Police are appealing to anybody who may have been travelling along the A55 westbound and who may have dash cam footage, to call 101 quoting reference number Z132879.
