In the latest report from Public Health Wales, 21 new cases of Coronavirus Covid-19 have been recorded in Wales.

This follows on from news that a third person has died. The pensioner with underlying health conditions lived in Bridgend, South Wales.

Currently the recorded total in the country stands at 191 although due to the fact that testing is now only conducted in hospital, the total number of cases could be significantly higher.

Dr Giri Shankar, Incident Director for the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak response at Public Health Wales, confirmed the new cases and said: "The Chief Medical Officer has today confirmed the death of a third Welsh resident who had tested positive for Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19).
