Colwyn Bay have agreed for midfielder Morgan Owen to go out on loan to Glan Conwy for a period of time and believe it is a positive move for now.
Manager Craig Hogg commented: "Unfortunately Morgan had a lay off through injury and now needs regular game time to get back to peak fitness.
"We feel that him joining Glan Conwy is right for all parties and we look forward to having him back once his loan spell is completed there."
The manager is hoping to bring in one or two new players to bolster the squad and added: "Further statements regarding player transfer activity will be made as and when it may happen during this January window."
The 19-year-old Morgan has made 14 appearances for the Bay this season, mainly coming on as a substitute, and scored an important goal in the 2-0 win at Corwen in October just prior to his injury.
