Clwyd West MS Darren Millar has backed calls for an Olympic Swimming Pool in North Wales.
The Shadow Minister for North Wales said: “Wales is a sporting nation with successes across many disciplines but elite swimmers in North Wales are disadvantaged by not having access to an Olympic sized pool in the region.
“It is essential that investment in sporting talent and facilities are fairly distributed across Wales so I fully support calls from coaches and sports people across North Wales for an Olympic sized pool to compliment other facilities in the region."
He added: “Everyone in Wales deserves an equal opportunity to unleash their sporting potential but this will only be achieved if there's fair investment in all parts of the country."
