A new testing centre has opened this week in Llanrwst to make it easier for people in the area to get an appointment for a COVID-19 test closer to home.

This service for individuals who believe they have COVID-19 symptoms, and you should only attend if you have one or more of the following symptoms - a high temperature, a new continuous cough and/or a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste

The drive-through facility has been set up at Glasdir in Llanrwst and will be in operation for the next two to three weeks.

This is not a walk-in service and people will need to make an appointment to have a test. Details about how to apply for a test and a list of test centres in North Wales can be found on the Betsi Cadwaladr website at: https://bcuhb.nhs.wales/covid-19/book-a-covid-19-test/

Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board has worked in partnership with Conwy County Borough Council, Public Health Wales and the UK Government Department of Health and Social Care to set this testing station up.
