Local music fans across Conwy and Denbighshire are going to spoilt for choice early next month as a landmark three day festival arrives on our doorstep at the Rhyl Events Arena.
The K-Festival lineup which has a distictly different musical theme each day follows a very successful Rhuddfest which had audiences enjoying music from the likes of Toploader and local artists. At K-Fest some of the many highlights include The Lightning Seeds, The Farm, legendary dance DJ Judge Jules and Radio 2 presenter Craig Charles.
On Friday 2nd August, a family freindly themed K1 will feature the tribute acts to Robbie Williams, Spice Girls, Ed Sheeran, Little Mix, Tom Jones, Whitney Houston, Pink and Amy Winehouse.
The day will also include an all-day kids disco and local talent and children’s entertainers such as Peppa Pig and Mr Tumble…
Special guest includes acts Spencer Wilding, know for his appearances in films; Darth Vadar in Rogue One, Game of Thrones, Guardians of the Galaxy, Harry Potter and Victor Frankenstein to name a few.
On the Saturday over 30 artists from all over the world will perform some of the hottest DJ sets North Wales has ever seen over 3 stages.
Main acts includeJudge Jules, Weiss, Prok&Fitch, Anton Powers, OC & Verde, Danny Ramping, Seb Fontaine, Offaiah, Robin S, Kusp, Jay Robinson & Rudosa. Unlike the Friday these are not tribute acts but the orignal artists
And then to conclude an amazing weekend of music on Sunday 3rd August the K3 Indie & Brit Pop Music Festival will include legends of the scene with over 30 Live artists / bands performing over 3 stages bringing a well overdue feast of live music to ‘Sunny Rhyl’.
Main acts include (All Original Artists): Lightning Seeds, Space, The Farm, Tea Street Band, Clint Boon – DJ Set, DDE’s, James Atkin from EMF, Space Monkeys, Craig Charles – DJ Set (Funk & Soul), Dance Arena – 30 Years of Rave.
With 3 stages in and around the purpose built events arena each day, this is set to be one of the biggest events to ever hit North Wales.
