North Wales will have mainly warm and sunny weather this week as summer finally arrives for the school holidays.
Yesterday saw beaches packed in Colwyn Bay, Rhyl and Llandudno, with the beach friendly weather continuing today. Earlier today temperatures got up 22 degrees and by Wednesday, it could be warmer than the Algarve in the East of the region.
However, the Met Office is now warning that North Wales might experience thunderstorms on Thursday with a weather warning for heavy rain on Thursday. The warning which mainly covers Denbighshire, Flintshire and Wrexham could see 12 hours of rain falling across the day.
