A local nursery has informed parents that one of the children that attends has tested positive for Covid-19.
Princess Road Nursery School which is based in Old Colwyn made the statement on Facebook and ask parents to share the information.
Due to difficulties in reporting the case over the weekend, the nursery has taken the precaution to close their Downstairs Nursery awaiting further information from NHS Wales.
In a statement on Facebook today the nursery said: "We have been informed that a child who has recently attended the Main Nursery has tested positive for COVID. Unfortunately with it being Sunday evening we are unable to contact anyone from Track, Trace, Protect until tomorrow morning.
"As a precaution we will be closing our Downstairs Nursery tomorrow morning (Monday 28th June) until we receive guidance from TTP. Please note the Baby Suite will be open as normal tomorrow morning."
An update is expected from the nursery in due course.
