Rhos-on-Sea promenade has re-opened after an incident earlier today (Sunday 16 May) involving a car and pedestrian. North Wales Police and the Wales Ambulance Service reported that just after lunchtime a person was struck by a car.
At 1.27pm emergency services were called following reports that a woman pedestrian had been in collision with motor vehicle and was taken to hospital. Her condition is not yet known.
The Promenade was closed for a number of hours whilst enquiries continued. Vehicles were permitted to use the road again just after 3pm.
