Public access to computers is now available at the Colwyn Bay library and other country libraries in Abergele, Conwy, Llandudno and Llanrwst.

Library membership is required and access to the computers is free. To ensure a safe environment, owing to the coronavirus pandemic, there will be limited availability and spaces must be reserved in advance by contacting 01492 576139.

Conwy County Borough Council are also reminding residents that the call and collect service is available at all of Conwy’s libraries. Books can be ordered online or by phone. Library staff will then get in contact to arrange a time to collect the books from the library entrance.

Cllr Dr Mark Baker, Conwy’s Cabinet Member for Arts, Heritage and Culture said, “I’m pleased that the phased re-introduction of library services is continuing.

"In addition to the call and collect book service, we are now able to provide safe access to library computers. People who have no computer or broadband access and who want to search for jobs, apply for benefits or simply keep in touch with family and friends can book to use a library computer.”

Information about when computer access will be available in community libraries is expected to be announced soon.
