Children and families in North Wales and Cheshire can now benefit from a new extension at the Tŷ Gobaith (Hope House) Children's Hospice in the Conwy Valley.
The extension, entirely grant-funded, includes a care bedroom, a family bedroom, a medical station, and an accessible bathroom.
Head of Care at Tŷ Gobaith, Angharad Davies, said: “This is the realisation of a dream for us.
“We aim to reach every local child and family living with a life-threatening condition and help them to live their best lives and make precious memories.
“Having this new space means families can be close to their child at all stages on their journey with us in a truly modern and beautifully calm setting.
“I would like to extend an offer to any family in North Wales and Cheshire living with a seriously ill child to make contact with our community nurses and see if we can help meet their needs free of charge.”
The project cost £620,000 and was completed in six months by Best Construction and TACP Architects.
