Volunteering Week is set to be marked in Colwyn Bay soon but with a noticeable difference thanks to lockdown.
From the 1st through to the 7th June the team at CVSC on Rhiw Road in the town are doing things slightly differently concentrating on social media and digital methods of communication and due to restrictions on public gatherings.
However they are determined to thank all our local volunteers, whether they have been volunteering for years, or have just got involved due to the current situation we all find ourselves.
Each day of Volunteers’ Week will focus on a different aspect of volunteering to ensure a spotlight is shone on particular types of volunteering that have played a significant role in the last twelve months. CVSC are asking all voluntary led organisations for support by sharing your stories, case studies and thank you messages.
Sadly this year, the Volunteer's Recruitment Fair which was schedule for early June has been postponed until the time is right to do so.
For more details of this year's celebrations, how to get involved along with downloadable certificates of recognition please contact the Volunteering Team at CVSC at volunteering@cvsc.org.uk
