People in North Wales are being invited to help shape the future of firefighter training by attending a public consultation on plans for a new Training and Development Centre.
North Wales Fire and Rescue Service will host the event at St Asaph Fire Station on Tuesday, August 4, between 5pm and 7pm, giving residents the opportunity to learn more about proposals for Hwb Awen, the service's planned new training and development facility.
The consultation will allow members of the public to view the proposals, speak with fire service representatives and share their views on the plans before they progress.
As well as discussing the project, visitors will be able to take part in a range of fire prevention activities designed to help keep people safe at home and in their communities.
Families attending the event will also have the chance to climb aboard one of the fire engines and meet firefighters, offering a behind-the-scenes look at the equipment and vehicles used to respond to emergencies across North Wales.
The fire service says the event is an opportunity for local people to find out more about Hwb Awen and ensure their voices are heard as the project develops.
Anyone interested in attending can drop into St Asaph Fire Station at any time between 5pm and 7pm on Tuesday, August 4.
