RGC focuses on final game of the season at Parc Eirias

RGC get set for their final game of the season tomorrow at Parc Eirias (30 April), and a chance of a 3rd place finish.

They face an Aberavon side who head North after a National Cup defeat at the Principality Stadium last weekend.

This will be the first time both sides have faced each other this season, and the Wizards also are in with a chance of a 3rd place finish as well with 2 games remaining.

Afon Bagshaw is expecting a tough 80 minutes “They are always a difficult team to play, so we know what to expect.

“The basic aim for us was to finish as high as possible in the league and get some momentum, and a win will show that progress this season.  We will all look back at games and inconsistencies, but all we can do is focus on the game and that 3rd place finish.”

Head Coach Ceri Jones “The ironic thing is that we are playing good rugby and picking up results as the season comes to an end, and to be honest I would have fancied play-off games to extend the season.”

RGC are delighted to be partnering with CSM Security who will sponsor this Saturday’s final game of the season against National Cup Runner’s up Aberavon at Parc Eirias Stadium in a 2.30pm kick off.

CSM Security will be adding to the festival style atmosphere by offering free RGC branded t-shirts to children along with foam hands for them to wave as they support the team.
