The Prince of Wales has arrived in the area to meet with young people from various coastal based communities in Conwy County.
Prince William was greeted by crowds of people at Porth Eirias on the Colwyn Bay promenade just after midday and he met young members of the Marine Conservation Society’s Youth Ocean Network.
His visit also took in a trip to Youth Shedz headquarters in Mochdre, to celebrate the work and achivements of many local boys and girls.
A sense of excitement rippled through the Mochdre community and The Mountain View pub was open offering free refreshments to the many locals who turned out to see the Prince.
William also attended a comedy workshop in Llandudno co-founded by famous Welsh comedian Kiri Pritchard-McLean.
The Prince's visit aimed to explore successful youth programs and opportunities in the area.
