Colwyn Bay will know they face a challenging test when they go to Buckley Town on Saturday (2pm kick off) in the second round of the JD Welsh Cup.
When they two sides met at The Globe in the league in August it needed a Tommy Creamer special six minutes into added time to secure a 2-1 win for the Seagulls after Buckley had had a player sent off. That defeat will have hurt, as Airbus are the only other side to have won at Buckley in the JD Cymru North this season.
They have proved hard to beat on their own pitch and had an emphatic 7-2 victory over Builth Wells in the first round of the Welsh Cup, when Colwyn Bay were given a bye.
The Seagulls go into the tie on the back on an 11-match unbeaten run and have hit 24 goals in their last five games, in which they have kept three clean sheets, so Buckley will also know they face a Bay side that has been in really good form over the past few weeks and have tremendous competition for places.
