Colwyn Bay came from behind to beat Flint Mountain 2-1 under the 4 Crosses Arena lights to make it nine league wins in a row and and extend their unbeaten run to 14 games.
After going behind inside three minutes, Craig Lindfield equalised to take his goals tally this season into double figures and then Jame Cumming headed his third goal of the campaign for what proved to be the winner in a tightly fought game.
There was an early shock when Flint Mountain took the lead as a pass from Rob Hughes split the Colwyn Bay defence and Jack Parry added the finishing touch, but the Bay hit back and had turned the game around within the next 15 minutes.
They were level on 10 minutes when a good move down right started by Jamie Cumming saw Craig Lindfield take a return pass from Will McKinley to finish well, and eight minutes later Jamie Cumming scored with a near post header from a Sam Hart corner.
The experienced Mike Hayes caused the Bay defence some problems and Rhys Williams had to make a couple of good saves to deny him an equaliser before half-time, while for the Bay Josh Carey had a shot from the edge of the area held by Flint keeper John Danby.
In the second half Gwion Dafydd shot straight at the keeper from a corner and Jamie Cumming was just wide with an effort from a Dan Atkins cross.
Danby made a fine save to keep out a Josh Carey effort and Dan Atkins put a difficult chance just past the post, but the half remained goalless and Bay held on to take the three points and consolidate second place in the table.
