Seagulls will prioritise loyal supporters when games kick off

Colwyn Bay FC have shared their thanks to loyal fans in their latest supporter's update and confirmed that all who are taking part in the subscription scheme will be prioritised when matches finally begin again.

So far the monthly subscriptons have raised over £10,000 which has been vital to ensure the club had the resources to keep operational during the lockdown and uncertain months which were faced earlier this year.

The club says the supporter funding has helped keep the pitch and ground maintained to a high standard whilst waiting on a final decision on when matches can start again from the Football Association of Wales.

The club said: "It has undoubtedly also helped with a successful return to Welsh football on the pitch. Even though last season was cut short due to the coronavirus pandemic there have been some memorable moments, great away days and the fans (old and new) have been at the heart of the new buzz that surrounds the club.

"Although the COVID-19 restrictions are being relaxed slowly in Wales there is no news yet from the FAW about when pre-season might start and what restrictions there might or might not be be regarding admitting supporters, but if there are restrictions on attendance, Registered Supporters and Season Ticket holders will be given priority."
