A family from Rhyl raised over £1,600 for Tŷ Gobaith Hospice by completing a 30-mile walk in memory of their son, Charlie, who passed away from a rare brain tumor.
The Secker family faced tough weather conditions on their walk but nevertheless persevered with their challenge.
Half of the funds raised were donated to the hospice for their support during Charlie's final weeks.
Mum, Leanne said: “We never thought we’d need support from a hospice. But without Tŷ Gobaith things would have been impossible.
“They took care of everything and just let us be with Charlie.”
Tŷ Gobaith fundraiser, Sian Golding has been supporting the Secker family in their fundraising and said: “Rob and Leanne are so incredibly strong and with the support of their close friends and family completed a really challenging walk for the hospices.
“We are so grateful for their efforts.”
