Conwy is full of wonder and hidden surprises, from the smallest house in Britain to one of Wales’ most imposing castles, from the mountains of the Carneddau to miles of sandy beaches, a place of contrast and spectacle.

Conwy in the land of bards and poets. Has 450 square miles from the North Wales coast to Snowdonia. Is home to 117,000 people, and welcomes 9.7 million annual visitors.

As Conwy gets prepared for the City of Culture bid for 2025, why not be a part of it?

As Reverend Eryl Parry said “Our churches here across the Bro Celynnin Ministry Area actually represent five wonderful assets. They are all medieval, they’re absolute treasures, and thanks to Conwy 2025 we get the chance to welcome people in who wouldn’t otherwise know about them.

“But also we get the chance to work with new people, and do things that we’ve never done before. I firmly believe we’ve been given an opportunity, a sign of hope, for us as churches who are deeply rooted in our communities, to be in these creative conversations - a real sign of God at work.

“It highlights how each of us can best play our role. Give our gifts, experience the goodness of God. And to reach out to those who have never accessed culture perhaps in this way before”.
