An inquest has opened into the death of Daphne Stallard, who was hit by a council recycling wagon in Llandudno last Monday.
The 89-year-old woman was struck when the lorry was reversing on Brookes Street.
Mrs. Stallard, described as a "shining light of love", suffered severe crush injuries and died at the scene.
A council employee was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving, with a police investigation underway.
