National Organ Donation Week starts on 20 September 2021 and to raise awareness, there is an invitation to join a walk up Snowdon in memory of your loved one and one of those who saved the lives of others through the gift of donation.
The challenge happens on Wednesday, 22 September and whilst organisers appreciate that this will be an event that not all can join in, they do hope as many people can seek comfort by being involved in some way.
"It may be that you wish to join us and support us as we set off, or that you join us and walk some of the route.
"We also welcome you to email us a photo of your loved one so that we can take it to the summit for you.
"The details of the walk are evolving, especially in these ever-changing times and we ask that you keep an eye on this page in the days leading up to the walk and especially the day before for up-to-date information about where to meet and when.
"We ask that if you plan to take part take your time to consider what footwear, clothing and equipment you may need.
