RSPB Conwy have shared news of their happy return as a result on the continuing easing of lockdown rules in Wales.

The reserve which welcomes thousands of visitors each spring and summer have confirmed that they will be opening again from tomorrow morning (Thursday 14th April).

All facilities will be available except for the enclosed hides which will be out of bounds until it is safe to open them up.

From 14th April, the opening hours will be as follows:
Car park & Toilets - 9am-5pm
Welcome hub - 9.30am-5pm
Shop: 9.30am-5pm
Coffee shop (takeaway): 10am-4pm

The opening is part of a concerted push to open up as many Conwy outdoor spaces as possible with Bodnant Gardens, Conwy Castle and Gwrych Castle some of the locations ready to welcome visitors. The Welsh Mountain Zoo are set to open on Monday 26th April.

The Conwy RSPB nature reserve is a wetland on the east bank of the Conwy estuary, created from material dug out during construction of the A55 road tunnel. It is now home to a variety of wildlife, and a great place to introduce families to nature.
