With Christmas upon us, all the team at Bayside would like to thank you for listening and joining us on the radio over the past 18 months.
Over this time we have been welcomed into homes across the Bay of Colwyn and have thoroughly enjoyed being here to entertain and inform each and every day.
In the past year we have fitted out state-of-the art production and live studios on Rhiw Road in Colwyn Bay assisted to 20 volunteers who work tirelessly across the week to produce radio content, write for the website and keep our social media channels up-to-date.
In 2020 we are looking to taking our service onto DAB digital radio so you can hear us wherever you are in the county of Conwy whether that is in the car, at home and at work.
We'll also be working in partnership with many trusted partners to include brand new content across the website including entertainment, music news, film and more.
Next year there will be an even greater emphasis placed on bringing you news from your community and we will be playing an even greater role by supporting volunteering and social action campaigns with the on-going development of our Media Action hub with Conwy Voluntary Services Council (CVSC).
Not only will we be reflecting what is happening in the third and charitable sector but we will be getting involved with and helping make positive things happen in your community.
Our thanks go out to the Bay of Colwyn Town Council for helping make Bayside Studios a reality and for all the support and encouragement from CVSC.
Thank you to friends behind the scenes at the BBC and Viamux for technical support and advice (very often in the middle of the night), to our dedicated and talented team of volunteers who believe passionately in serving the community and to the teams at Coleg Llandrillo for supporting us with new talent, training and research.
Most importantly thank you to each and everyone who listens, takes part and gets involved in what we do every day. It's your feedback and messages which makes everything worthwhile.
