North Wales Police in partnership with North Wales Fire and Rescue Service, RNLI & PACT have launched #TheBigSummerChallenge2023 – an opportunity for children and young people to complete a project over the summer which will better their community in some way.
The challenge calls on schools, colleges, youth groups and clubs to come up with innovated ideas which will keep people safe or benefit people and places in their community.
This could involve looking at neglected spaces to help prevent fires, promoting the safe use of paddle boards and the wearing of personal floatation devices or campaigning for youth facilities in your area.
Entrants are in with a chance of winning up to £1000 for their school, group or club, with further cash prizes up for grabs!
