Colwyn Bay's favourite theatre gets set to welcome audiences back from the end of May.
Earlier this evening the team at Theatr Colwyn made a special announcement after many months away from the spotlight. Provided the health situation remains postive, the theatre expects to open on Saturday May 29.
The theatre, which is such an important part of the community in the Bay of Colwyn, has had its doors shut since just before Christmas.
Sadly the restrictions meant that the families were deprived of their much-loved annual pantomime which was taken online instead, whilst a great programme of Christmas films also had to be cancelled.
From the end of May Theatr Colwyn will begin screening films once again and will shortly announce its programme for late spring into the summer.
It is hoped that when the time is right and it is safe to do so, that the theatre will begin hosting full stage shows once again.
