Three seats for Reform in landmark Clwyd result

Clwyd has delivered another major breakthrough for Reform UK as the party secured three seats in the newly declared Senedd constituency result.

The Clwyd result confirms Reform UK as a growing political force in North Wales, with the party emerging ahead of both Labour and the Conservatives in another dramatic shake-up of Welsh politics.

The elected candidates are:

Adrian Mason (Reform UK)
Louise Emery (Reform UK)
Thomas Montgomery (Reform UK)
Becca Martin (Plaid Cymru)
Llyr Gruffydd (Plaid Cymru)
Darren Millar (Conservative)

The result means Reform UK takes half of the available seats in Clwyd, while Plaid Cymru secured two seats and the Conservatives claimed one.

Labour again failed to secure representation in the constituency, adding to mounting evidence of a collapse in support for the party across large parts of Wales.

The declaration follows Plaid Cymru’s strong performance earlier in Bangor Conwy Mon, suggesting North Wales is becoming one of the key battlegrounds in a historic Senedd election night.
