Colwyn Bay made it three wins in a row with a 3-1 away success at Llangefni Town to go third in the JD Cymru North table on goal difference.
Tom McCready and George Mannion (twice) were all off target with early efforts and Sam Downey had a header well saved before giving the Seagulls the lead on 25 minutes.
Sam Jones put in a great run before firing a shot which the home keeper could only parry, and Downey scored from the rebound.
Right on half-time the Bay doubled their lead when Tom McCready was pulled down in the area and Rob Parry scored from the penalty spot.
Llangefni pulled a goal back early in the second half through Tom Kelly's low shot, but Colwyn Bay made sure of the points with a third goal on 63 when Lewis Sirrell scored with a looping header from a corner.
Late in the game Colwyn Bay gave a first team debut to 16-year-old Macsen Rhys-Williams from the Under-19s development squad.
Manager Craig Hogg commented: "We are pleased with the result. Llangefni away is always a difficult game, but I felt we went about it in the right way for the majority and scored out goals at important stages of the game.
"Going into half-time 2-0 up was pleasing, but it is a funny position to be in at times.
"The next goal in the game was always going to be an important one and it was disappointing from our point of view to concede so early on in the second half.
"But the players managed themselves quite well at 2-1 and could have scored on two occasions before Lewis Sirrell got our third and his first goal for the club.
"Tom Creamer made his first start for us and performed very well. He has fitted into the group nicely since he joined us and has a lot to offer for sure.
"I was pleased we got Tommy through some hard minutes and his quality on the ball was really pleasing to see.
"It was also good to have young Macsen Rhys-Williams (from the U19s) in the squad and to see him make his senior debut for his boyhood club.
"I was pleased we were able to bring him in, as the experience of training with the first team and being involved in a game like this is crucial for a young player's development.
"His performances for the Under-19s have been good and he has been with us on merit.
"The hard work has only just started for the youngster, but I'm confident this experience will be good for him moving forward."
