A place in the Northern final of the Welsh Blood Service League Cup is at stake when the Seagulls play JD Cymru North title rivals Airbus UK Broughton under the Four Crosses Arena Lights tomorrow night (March 14th, 7:30pm kick-off).
League leaders Colwyn Bay are four points ahead of second-placed Airbus at the top of the table having had a win and a draw in their two league games against the Wingmen this season, but this third meeting between the top two sides in the division is likely to be a hard fought and close encounter.
The winners will play Bangor 1876 or Penrhyncoch in the northern final (venue and date to be decided).
The Bay are bidding to be in the Northern final for the second time in three seasons, having beaten Porthmadog 3-1 at Bala to lift the cup in the 2022/23 season, to complete a League and Cup double, before losing to Barry Town in the National Final with what was virtually a youth team.
Another big crowd is expected on Friday so it is advisable to get to the ground early to avoid congestion.
