Llandudno Rotary is widening its much-needed support to the Hope Restored Food Bank by co-operating with the organiser Brenda Fogg to enable her and her team to provide shelter and nourishment to those in the community who have suffered and are suffering the effects of Covid 19.

Waldemar Pazik at the KASZANA Polish Shop in Craig-y-Don, has gathered a selection of Polish food items and placed them in a box ready to transport to Hope Restored at West Shore. President Rosalind Hopewell was on hand to thank Waldemar for his kindness and support.

This co-operation also extends to Craig-y-Don Co-op where Manager Henry Morris, has established a Donation Point at the Co-op Store and a collecting box at the side of the tills.

The box was soon full and within a week more than 35kg of food had been delivered by Rotary to the Hope Restored headquarters. Again, Rosalind thanked Henry for all he is doing.

Members of the public are also reminded that the Rotary will gladly accept many more food donations if you can help. By excercising social distancing and leaving your donations on the doorstep, donations can be dropped off at these locations.

6 Vicarage Road, Llandudno. 103 Queens Road, Llandudno or 14 Bryn Gannock, Deganwy.

If you too can offer to be a collection point, please contact Ian Trevette on 01492 650871.

Rotary members will then provide the collection, transportation and support vital to ensure the food reaches Hope Restored and local people who need help at this difficult time.
