Conwy has announced that it is supporting the Royal British Legion's call for a nationwide observance of a Two Minute Silence to begin at 11am on Thursday 11th November 2021, to mark Armistice on the '11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month'.

The reflection which will be observed across Wales and across the world will be the opportunity for offices, workplaces, factories, colleges and schools to pause and remember those who have died in conflict on the day the cessation of hostilities on the Western Front of World War I was called.

Cllr Abdul Khan, Chairman of Conwy County Borough Council, said "I hope others in the community, whether they are at work or at home, will join us in observing the two minutes silence.”
