Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board has requested additional help to improve patient care in response to ongoing challenges.
Welsh Cabinet Secretary for Health and Social Care Jeremy Miles announced a new package of measures, including the appointment of an improvement director and operational leads to drive progress.
A team of experts will be deployed to address issues in the Health Board for six months, with a focus on reducing waiting times, improving flow, and strengthening governance.
Despite some improvements, delays in care are still "unacceptably long". This intervention aims to accelerate improvements and ensure quality healthcare in North Wales.
