Venue Cymru's technical team has been shortlisted for a highly prestiguous award following the theatre transitioning into an NHS Wales temporary hospital earlier this year.
Over many weeks at the start of the pandemic, medics, construction workers, local NHS staff and Venue Cymru teams came together to ensure that Ysbyty Enfys was on hand to look after local people recovering from COVID-19 if local hospitals could not cope with an increase in patients.
Today the work of the Technical Team at Venue Cymru has been recongnised by the Meetings Industry Association by making the list of notable organisations which has undertaken major projects this year.
The Meetings Industry Association is the principal association supporting and growing the business meetings and events industry.
