North Wales Police are warning locals to be on their guard after a series of shed and car break ins over the last few days in Conwy county.

The latest incidents involved two cars which were broken into on St Hilary's Drive in Deganwy.  This occurred sometime over Wednesday night into early hours Thursday morning.

On both occasions the car was left unlocked. If you live in the area or know anyone who does please let them know. Lock your car and remove all valuables to stop this happening to you.

As Christmas approaches people should take care to keep valuables including Christmas shopping and Christmas presents safe from thieves and be cautious about storing gifts in unsecured sheds and garages.

If you have any information about thefts from cars or sheds please call North Wales Police on 101 or Crimestoppers without giving your name on 0800 555 111.
