Patients in Wales may soon be moved to different dental surgeries under new proposals by Welsh Government.
The changes aim to improve access to dental services by offering treatment at any practice within the health board area.
Patients over 18 would be placed on a central waiting list and allocated a surgery, with check-ups for healthy teeth every 18 to 24 months.
Charges for services would also see some adjustments if the proposals go through.
Welsh Government say plans would improve dental access for those in need, but the British Dental Association warns that it may lead to more patients seeking private care instead.
