Welsh Government to review Coronavirus lockdown rules today

A way out of lockdown may be on the table during the next review of Welsh Government Covid restrictions in 21 days time but for now, it is expected that very little will change during the review expected later today.

A route for the re-opening of hospitality businesses and tourism, a sector so important to the economic wellbeing of North Wales, has been hinted by Mark Drakeford but again it is expected that details will only be laid out in the weeks to come and as new cases of Covid stay low.

Experts have predicted that 'stay at home' restrictions will remain in place until the next review, when some easing of the rules will allow free movement of people in and out of Wales and the possible opening of non-essential retail.
