Animals at the Welsh Mountain Zoo - National Zoo of Wales, have been getting into the spirit of the Wimbledon opening games, by indulging in a spot of tennis fun.
The meerkats have been bouncing their own tennis balls, packed with tasty treats, around the enclosure, whilst the bears have been enjoying their own ‘strawberries and cream’ themed enrichment.
Charlotte Dykes, Marketing Officer at the Welsh Mountain Zoo said: “We all love a major sporting event here at the Zoo and getting the animals involved is a fun way to mark the beginning of Wimbledon!”
