Firefighters remain at the scene of wildfire incidents on Conwy Mountain near Capelulo and in the Rhinogydd mountain range near Harlech, as crews continue work to monitor and control affected areas on Wednesday afternoon.
North Wales Fire and Rescue Service says members of the public may see fire appliances returning to the locations as operations continue.
The latest update follows a number of public reports and concerns about smoke and fire activity, particularly around Conwy Mountain.
Crews are in attendance at Conwy Mountain near Capelulo, Braichmelyn Forestry near Bethesda, and the Rhinogydd mountain range near Llanbedr, close to Harlech.
Eyewitness reports from Llanbedr says that fire has been burning fiercely across the day.
The service is urging people to stay away from areas affected by fire to allow firefighters to work safely and to prevent members of the public being exposed to potential hazards.
Residents affected by smoke are being advised to keep windows and doors closed until conditions improve and the smoke has dispersed. Once the air quality improves, people are advised to open windows and doors to ventilate their homes.
The incidents come after a period of dry weather and heightened wildfire risk across parts of North Wales, with firefighters continuing to warn that moorland, grassland and forestry areas can become extremely vulnerable to fire spread during prolonged dry conditions.
A separate vehicle fire in Llanfor, near Bala, attended by crews yesterday evening, has now been brought under control.
North Wales Fire and Rescue Service is reminding people to take care when enjoying the countryside, including avoiding the use of disposable barbecues, taking care with cigarettes and ensuring any outdoor fires are fully extinguished.
