Anxiety and Prevention with Conwy Mind

July 22, 2020 - 445 views

Conwy Mind are a wonderful resource for everyone in our community especially since the COVID-19 lockdown has impacted on us all in various ways.

In our latest catch up with Rachel we discuss the impact of lockdown on our mental health and the advice and support that is available for free from the team and their volunteers. This isn't about major mental health issues but the way we might feel vulnerable or low on a day-to-day basis.

We also meet a new member of the team, Dawn who tells us about Active Monitoring which is an early intervention programme suitable for adults with mild to moderate mental health issues including depression and anxiety.

By offering people access to support at an earlier stage than would normally be available, ‘Active Monitoring’ aims to help prevent people’s mental health issues from escalating.

There's lots to find out and lots of help available. Once you have listened to our podcast, you can read more about what they offer here

If you require support from Conwy Mind at this time please contact us the team on 01492 879907, or email

Please don't suffer in silence and get in touch for a confidential chat.
