Volunteering grants of up to £1000 for 15-24s

June 12, 2021 - 1391 views

The Youth Led Grants Fund is administered by CVSC on behalf of WCVA and the Welsh Government.

It is led and carried out by young people, and designed to support a range of small youth led volunteering projects and activities in the county of Conwy.

On my Good Morning Colwyn Bay show, I chat with CVSC's Aled Roberts about the scheme and how to apply along with a general update on funding and Loto Lwcus.

The youth led grants fund will help to empower young people to develop their own initiatives; take an active role in their communities and involve/recruit young people to take part.

Grants of up to £1,000 are available to support volunteering or set up a volunteering activity.

Applications are selected and recommended by a panel of young people aged 14-25 and the applications are to be based within Conwy County

The current grant application round will close on 18th June 2021. Applicants will receive an email confirming receipt of their application and will be notified of the panel’s result/decision within 3 weeks of the closing date.

For more details and to apply please visit https://www.cvsc.org.uk/en/funding/youth-led-grant-2021-22 or telephone Aled on 01492 523856.

Many thanks for listening,
